Here is a brief update of what we have been up to. July 30thARD made its way down to Falls Creek in Victoria for arguably the "coolest" event this year, the MTV snow Jam. ARD's involvement included designing, building and installing the unique one of a kind rail for the stair case at St. Falls and supplying the roll in. It was an awesome event with a wild after party.![]() August 21stARD hosted Eurocam at their compound for a film shoot of a new extreme sports show to be aired on ABC2. The day consisted of FMX, skateboarding, and brownie (browns grafix) rolled out his 50's set up to throw down! There was bikes, skateboards, kids and dogs going everywhere all topped off with a killer BBQ. Special mention has to go to Bushy for a spectacular off on Brownie's 50, he walked away like a trooper only for him to wake up the next day with his leg black and blue and twice the size it should be, a quick trip to the hospital for it to be drained, and three weeks on the couch and his nearly back to normal... Stay tuned for screening times and dates.
September 1stARD headed to Canberra for the mountain bike world championships. ARD's role was to add entertainment to the Red Bull chill out zone... Add the ARD 6 ft mini ramp, three skaters and three BMX's. The ramp was a favourite for the athletes to check out between their races.![]() September 5thARD in partnership with Red Bull turned on an FMX show at The Mean Fiddler in Sydney on Saturday September 5th. The night was the premier of X fighters London on the red bull big screen and to engage public interest and awareness of Red Bull X ray at Picton on the same weekend. Robbie Madison hosted the night, with riders including Matt Schubring, Joel Balchin and Truman Carroll all doing there thang on the ARD portable set up. The night was a big success with 3000 people packing the car park at the venue enjoying the action.
September 17thARD supplied Star city casino with its 6ft mini ramp for the official opening of its new sports theatre and bar. It was a who's who of Australian sport, including football, athletics and boxing stars all attending. ARD's mini ramp took centre stage with skate and BMX demos throughout the night, which kept the crowd entertained.
